Marvin CHUNG

Prior to joining the legal industry, CHUNG Wai Lap (Marvin) gained a wealth of leadership, consulting, project management and technical experiences in varied Technology and Telecom Enterprises in Hong Kong. He graduated with his first Bachelor’s degree (BEng in Electronic Engineering) and a Master’s degree (MSc in Telecommunications) at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He now holds 4 x CCIE certificates. In addition, Marvin earned his Master of Business Administration at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and became a member of Beta Gamma Sigma.

After years of excelling his proficiency in the Tech and Telecom business, Marvin completed his Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of London. He then obtained a distinction grade in his Graduate Diploma in Law at The University of Law. With respect to Alternative Dispute Resolution, he completed his General Mediator Training Course and Conversion Course for International Accredited Professional Mediator of IDRRMI. He is now an Associate Member of Hong Kong Mediation Centre.

Marvin joined the firm as a second-year trainee solicitor in 2022 and completed the training in 2023. He is now being Consultant at the firm.

Except practising as a solicitor in Hong Kong, he also extends his practising footprint in another jurisdiction after his admission as a solicitor in England and Wales.

During his period of training and private practice , Marvin developed diversified and solid skills in different practice areas, including Real Estate Transaction and Litigation, Civil Dispute Resolution (Litigation and Mediation), Wills, Probate and Trusts, Tort and Personal Injuries, Corporate and Commercial, Public, Family, Intellectual Property, Employment and Criminal.
